In February 2016, Engelhart Reed completed the buildout of the ABB Inc.’s new office and warehouse facilities, in the Hungerford Icon Building.

 

Overview

A brief overview of the work completed in the space:

 

  • Renovation of existing office space, demolition and reconfiguration of electrical, HVAC, wall systems, raised floor system, flooring and paint. This included new light fixtures and reheat coils
  • Separate construction of warehouse office and warehouse facilities
  • Building of lab testing and staging area
  • Application of Non-static Dissipative Epoxy floor system
  • Warehouse ventilation system to accommodate manufacturing equipment & operations

It was a pleasure to work with Engelhart-Reed on our Calgary Campus. We had a very tight timeline to consolidate our 6 Calgary offices into a single space plus the added challenge of building a complex space, complete with a shop, warehouse, lab, office and a sale arena.
